Diversity in Accounting Conference

The registration for the Diversity in Accounting Student & Faculty Symposium on September 2nd in Birmingham, Alabama is now open!
The symposium committee has worked closely with representatives from Big 4 accounting firms, regional accounting firms, industry, and accounting organizations to plan an extraordinary event designed to achieve the following objectives: 
  • Provide underrepresented minority business students (undergraduate & graduate)with opportunities to
    • Enhance their professional brand;
    • Network with industry leaders and professional organizations;
    • Gain key tools, information, and resources for professional and academic success; and
    • Discover career opportunities.
  • To provide faculty with resources to engage the profession and support student success.

As we discussed, this may be a great way to recruit new NABA members.
Please ask your students to register as soon as possible. We are ordering the conference bags and giveaways and we are planning the pre-conference events.
